Jamie Edelstein, MD
Dr. Jamie Edelstein completed her Emergency Medicine residency at SUNY Downstate/Kings County. Her interest in wilderness medicine was sparked during a medical school rotation. She and a co-resident subsequently developed a popular student rotation in wilderness medicine through SUNY Downstate School of Medicine. She is currently an attending physician at Mount Sinai St. Luke's Roosevelt and is excited to help Tatiana develop a Wilderness Medicine curriculum with a great group of residents. Her interests include medical student education, trail mix, staying warm, and sitting at the top of mountains.
Dr. Tatiana Havryliuk completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Mt. Sinai Hospital in NYC and Fellowship in Wilderness Medicine at the University of Colorado/Denver Health. Tatiana is currently an attending physician at Mt. Sinai St. Luke's - Roosevelt Hospital Center and is excited to help develop wilderness program there. Tatiana has worked on global health and research projects in Brazil and Mozambique and most recently spent three months volunteering at the Himalayan Rescue Association clinic in Manang, Nepal and at Everest ER. Her interests include wilderness medicine education, altitude medicine, and global health. She is also a Fellow of Academy of Wilderness Medicine (FAWM), AWLS instructor and holds a Diploma in Mountain Medicine (DiMM).
Adam D. Hill, MD, FAWM, DIMM
Dr. Adam Hill was trained in emergency medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He is an attending physician and clinical instructor at Elmhurst Hospital Center in Queens, NY and also works in the Adirondacks of upstate New York. He is a Wilderness First Aid and AWLS instructor and teaches the Intro to Wilderness Medicine course through the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He focuses his outdoor interests on SCUBA diving, rock climbing, skiing/snowboarding, and trekking as well as focusing on outdoor education. And there's usually no shortage of whiskey nearby when traveling.
